The internal and external stakeholders of Aklan State University in New Washington gathered at the Audio-Visual Room today, July 25, 2025, for the By-Campus Stakeholder Presentation of ASU’s Comprehensive Strategic Plan for 2025-2034.
Dr. Anna Mae C. Relingo, Vice President for Administration and Finance, delivered the opening remarks and acknowledged those who were present on behalf of Dr. Jeffrey A. Clarin, SUC President III.
This was followed by the presentation of the BOR-approved Vision, Mission, Goals and Objectives of the University by Ms. Junaly M. Relado, Planning Officer II.
Mr. Arthur E. Jizmundo, Planning Officer III, further discussed the updated organizational structure while reiterating the important functions of each of the units.
In addition, Dr. Michael T. Ibisate, Director for Planning and Development, enlightened the audience regarding the proposed roadmap and strategic milestone of the University; emphasizing the need to be smart in all our undertakings.
The open forum sparked a healthy discussion on several concerns of the stakeholders including that of the Campus Director and Unit heads. Similarly, Ms. Lloyd F. Matias, USC President, shared her thoughts and support to the initiatives and plans presented.
The presentation ended with a Closing Remarks from Prof. Francis I. Renacido, Campus Director, who expressed his gratitude to everyone who made the presentation a success.
