Aklan State University โ Banga held its First Monday of the Month Flag Ceremony for July, attended by faculty and staff from various units of the University.
Following the flag-raising ceremony, Dr. Anna Mae C. Relingo, Vice President for Administration and Finance, addressed the ASU community and shared key updates on administrative matters, while Dr. Eleanor D. Rosales, Vice President for Academic Affairs, shared key updates related to academic operations.
Ms. Lovella Chris L. Palma, Information Officer II, also gave an update on the eFOI portal and shared insights from her recent participation in the FOI Bootcamp for newly designated FOI Officers.
As part of its continuing practice of wearing ASEAN attire every first Monday of the month, ASU personnel came dressed in vibrant ASEAN-inspired outfits. Ms. Izie E. Lachica from the Registrarโs Office and Mr. Robert Louie Dela Cruz, Budget Officer III, were recognized for wearing the Best ASEAN-Inspired Attire for this month.
The flag ceremony serves as a vital platform for nurturing patriotism, strengthening institutional unity, and reinforcing the core values of public service among members of the ASU community.
