The 2nd PAA Regional Conference with the theme “Advancing Agricultural Practices: Sustaining Growth and Innovation” officially began at the ASU Review Center in Banga, Aklan, on Wednesday, October 23.
The conference, organized by the PAA-Region VI-Darag Chapter in coordination with Aklan State University, has brought together agriculturists from across the region and beyond to explore sustainable advancements in agriculture.
During the opening program, the delegation was welcomed by Dr. Michael T. Ibisate, the President of the PAA-Darag Chapter. This was followed by messages from esteemed guests of the conference, including Dr. Jefferey A. Clarin, the President of ASU, Dir. Mary Ann A. Ramos, the Center Director of ATI-RTC VI, Dr. Zarlina B. Cuello, the Regional Technical Director of DA-RFO VI, and a Keynote Speech from Dr. Karen S. Bautista, the PAA National President, via video recording. The program also featured a message from Engr. Remelyn R. Recoter, the Director IV of ATI.
The 3-day conference will encompass a series of plenary sessions featuring distinguished experts in the field of agriculture.
