The University Scholarship and Financial Assistance facilitated the release of the Tulong Dunong Grant for State Universities and Colleges (TDP-SUCs) to ASU students today, August 30, 2024 at the ASU Review Center, Banga, Aklan.
303 students across ASU’s five campuses received this grant today for the first and second semester of A.Y. 2023-2024.
In his message, ASU President, Dr. Jeffrey A. Clarin thanked Senator Loren B. Legarda (who co-authored and co-sponsored of RA 10931 or the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act of 2017), for her continued support to Aklan State University.
Ms. Ma. Nadine R. Guillen, Chair of the University Scholarship and Financial Assistance, gave a short orientation about the TDP-SUCs. This was then followed by a message from OSAS Director, Dr. Marlyn J. Baylosis who encouraged the student-grantees to study well and achieve their dreams.
The Tulong Dunong Program a one-time scholarship grant of Php 7,500.00 to help qualified and deserving students pursuing a college degree.
