Human Resource Management Office
The Human Resource Management Office aims to promote and enhance the development of work effectiveness and advancement of the human resources in the organization through the implementation of rules and policies related to personnel records and database system, recruitment, selection and placement, separation process,compensation and benefits, career development, trainings, and employee relations to achieve the goals of the University.
MANDATE AND FUNCTIONS
- Implement policies pertaining to human resource actions and concerns of the University, Civil Service Commission (CSC), Commission on Audit (COA), Department of Budget (DBM) and other government agencies.
- In-charge of all human resource actions from recruitment, retention, promotion, separation, and all other concerns pertaining to human resource.
- Prepare and process appointments.
- Maintain a reliable, computerized and updated personnel records and publish HR Bulletin.
- Prepares office orders, memoranda, bulletins and communications pertaining to personnel matters.
- Conduct of implementation of the Program of Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) to reward performing and other certifications on human resource records.
- Prepare certificate of employment and other relevant certificates pertaining to personnel records.
- Develop, implement, monitor and evaluate comprehensive, balanced and relevant career and personnel development programs.
- Undertake human resource planning and research, manpower studies and personnel/job audit to rationalize the University’s staffing pattern;
- Performs such other duties and functions as may be prescribed by the University and pertinent laws.
