The Health Service Unit is committed to a healthy learning and teaching environment, conducive working condition, and safe and quality delivery patient care through enhanced health programs, quality assurance, competent personnel and functional facility.

Duties and Functions:

1. Provide preventive screenings for students and personnel which include physical health examination and oral health evaluation for early detection of health issues.
2. Manage first aid treatment for emergency and minor cases within the scope of service.
3. Promote health thru health education regarding healthy behaviors, nutrition, hygiene and disease prevention during consultation and program implementation.
4. Refer students to medical/dental specialist or higher facility for coordination and continuity of care.
5. Maintain a healthy and safe environment within school premises.
6. Keep accurate health record ensuring confidentiality of health information (Disclosing of health information is not limited to authorized person/s in case of legal matters).
7. Provide privacy to patients with respect to human dignity.
8. Oversee the implementing health policies and procedures in providing quality and safe patient care.
9. Maintain and observe the cleanliness of the clinic and ensure the availability of medical and dental supplies needed in the facility.
10. Perform other health related tasks assigned.
