The Aklan State University (ASU) Quality Assurance Office participated in the Philippine Society for Quality (PSQ) 2nd Cohort: Self-Assessment Report (SAR) Writing for Successful AUN-QA Programme Assessment, held September 9โ11, 2026 in Manila, Philippines, with an online session scheduled on October 1, 2026.
Representing ASU were Ms. Loannie G. Tenazas, Administrative Officer V of the Quality Assurance Office, and Dr. Luchelyn A. Beltran.
The training provided participants with guidance and practical insights on the preparation of the Self-Assessment Report (SAR), a key component in the ASEAN University NetworkโQuality Assurance (AUN-QA) Programme Assessment. The activity supports institutions in strengthening their quality assurance processes and preparing academic programs for international quality assessment.
The sessions were facilitated by Dr. Nguyen Thi My Ngoc, Mr. Johnson Ong Chee Bin, and Ms. Jenny.
Through continued participation in professional development activities such as this, ASUโs Quality Assurance Office gains updated knowledge and practices that can contribute to the Universityโs continuing efforts in quality assurance and academic excellence.
