The College of Agriculture, Forestry and Environmental Sciences (CAFES) commends its faculty Mr. Raffy L. Tano for the publication of his research in the Open Journal of Ecology, a Web of Science-indexed journal.
Mr. Tano’s paper “Effect of Pre-Sowing Treatments on Mamalis (Pittosporum pentandrum Blanco Merr.) Seeds Germination under Nursery Condition” was published by the International Scientific Research Publishing.
The study presented three pre-sowing treatments for Mamalis, such as immersion in lukewarm water, sulfuric acid, and hilar removal. READ: His research concluded that soaking warm water at 37.5°C for 2 hours provided the best growth.
