Aklan State University in Banga joined the nation in commemorating ASEAN Month 2025 through a vibrant and meaningful celebration held on August 29, 2025 at Teodosio Park, Banga, Aklan.
With the theme highlighting the importance of unity, diversity, and regional cooperation, the event showcased ASEANโs rich cultural heritage and its significance in fostering collaboration among Southeast Asian nations.
Faculty, staff, and students of ASU actively participated in the program which featured cultural presentations, interactive activities, and discussions that emphasized the values of ASEAN identity, community, and cooperation. The celebration also served as a reminder of the Philippinesโ commitment as an active member of ASEAN in promoting peace, progress, and mutual understanding.
Through this initiative, ASU reaffirmed its role in cultivating awareness of ASEAN integration and instilling in the youth the values of unity and cooperation as future leaders of the region.
