The Aklan State University – Information Office (UIO), in collaboration with DYMT Multimedia-Based Community Tele Radio, successfully conducted a meeting focused on university communications, branding guidelines, and radio program time slot assignments on March 27, 2025.

The meeting was attended by various Student Publications and student councils across ASU’s five campuses.
Lovella Chris Palma, Officer-in-Charge of the Information Office outlined the objectives and agenda of the gathering.
Ms. Melpha Abello, DYMT Program Director, delivered a comprehensive overview of DYMT’s history and operations, giving participants valuable insight into the station’s mission, evolution, and role in the community.
Mr. Jesstin Jay T. Beltran, Information Officer I, delivered a presentation on the University Communications Manual and Branding Guidelines, highlighting the institution’s standardized communication strategies and branding principles to ensure consistency across all media platforms.
This was followed by assigning DYMT time slots, where participants discussed and designated specific schedules for their respective programs. Following this, Ms. Palma conducted a content briefing, providing guidance on broadcasting protocols and content structuring.
An open forum was then held, allowing participants to raise concerns, ask questions, and provide suggestions regarding the implementation of university media initiatives. The participants then proceeded to the DYMT Radio Station, where Mr. Kent Ino G. Ibardolaza and Mr. Vic R. Ibisate provided an orientation and facilitated a hands-on broadcast demonstration, allowing them to experience live radio operations firsthand.
The group will convene again for the finalization of time slots and programming, and signing of a Memorandum of Agreement.
