A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between ASU and two Barangays were signed today, September 12, 2024 at the Office of the President.
The first Barangay was Feliciano, Balete, Aklan which was represented by its Barangay Chairman, Hon. Agnes D. Recidoro. The MOU was about the implementation of the Extension and Community Services project of ASU-College of Industrial Technology, Kalibo, Aklan. The project is entitled: “Various Industrial Technology Skills Training Leading Towards Rural Development of Barangay Feliciano, Balete, Aklan, Philippines” with the Project Leader, Ms. Sarah Joy F. Billones and Assistant Leader, Prof. Richard E. Dionisio along with its members. The said project is targeted to start at September 2024 to December 2026.
The second being the Barangay Silakat Nonok, Lezo, Aklan, represented by its Barangay Chairman, Hon. Arsenio T. Ureta. The MOU was about the implementation of the Extension and Community Services project of ASU-College of Industrial Education, Kalibo, Aklan which is entitled: “Research-based Intervention for Silakat-Nonok, Lezo, Aklan” with its Project Leader, Dr. Eduard Sumanga.
In attendance to the MOU signing are VP for Research, Dr. Julie Ann A. Salido, ASU-Kalibo Campus Director, Dr. Angeline G. Regalado, project members and SB members of the Barangays.
