ASU and the Provincial Government of Aklan began initial plans on sending students to Japan for On-the-Job Training.
In a meeting attended by ASU President, Dr. Jeffrey A. Clarin, Mr. Marsh B. Bernabe, Public Service Officer III of Office of the Provincial Public Employment Service Manager and Mr. Joel Salaver. The three parties discussed the initial terms on the proposed tripartite partnership to allow ASU student-interns from different programs to train and work in various companies in Japan.
Also present during the meeting were ASU acting Campus Directors, Dr. Angeline G. Regalado of ASU-Kalibo, Dr. Amelia T. Nevajas of ASU-Makato, Prof. Jerby J. Paderes of ASU-Ibajay, Prof. Francis I. Renacido of ASU-New Washington, acting Vice-President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Eleanor F. Rosales, acting International Affairs Director, Dr. Manuel O. Malonisio, and Information Officer III/OIC-University Secretary, Mr. Raymond P. Elitiong.
