Aklan State University President, Dr. Jeffrey A. Clarin signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Crop Protection Association of the Philippines (CPAP) .
CPAP aims to provide financial assistance to well-deserving incoming BS Agriculture major in Crop Science students who do not have enough financial means to be able to finish their studies leading up to a degree in agriculture and an eventual career in the agricultural industry. This is through the CPAP-Atong Labadan Scholarship Grant (CPAP Grant).
Present during the MOA signing are, Ms. Ma. Nadine R. Guillen, Chair of University Scholarship and Financial Assistance, Ms. Gemma T. Filipino, Chair, Scholarship Committee of CPAP, Dr. Eva R. Orlina, VP Academic Affairs, and Dr. Melba L. Raga-as, Dean of CAFES as well as CPAP Staff.
