Aklan State University (ASU) conducted โKahalagahan at Kapwa: Strengthening Core Work Values, Gender Responsive and Intergenerational Synergy for Inclusive Workplaceโ on September 8, 2026, at the ASU Review Center, Banga, Aklan, bringing faculty and staff together to deepen their understanding of values, inclusivity, and harmonious workplace relationships.
The seminar featured Capt. Venus G. Guadalquever, Former AFP GAD Focal Person, as the resource speaker, who shared insights on strengthening core work values, promoting gender-responsive practices, and fostering meaningful collaboration across generations in the workplace.
The morning session was dedicated to non-teaching personnel, while the afternoon session was conducted for teaching personnel, allowing both groups to engage in discussions relevant to building a more respectful, inclusive, and collaborative university environment.
Through initiatives such as this, ASU continues to foster a workplace where professional values, mutual respect, gender responsiveness, and intergenerational understanding contribute to a stronger and more inclusive community.
