The Aklan State University โ New Washington successfully successfully kicked off the Testimonial Ceremonies and Criminology Day 2026 on April 22, 2026, at the New Washington Auditorium and Sports Complex.
Anchored on the theme, โForging Excellence in Criminal Justice: Recognizing Achievement and Inspiring Professionals,โ the two-day celebration highlighted the achievements of newly registered criminologists, whose hard work and perseverance serve as an inspiration to the entire academic community.
The event featured a series of meaningful activities including a motorcade, launching of the college, testimonial ceremonies, and the awarding of certificates to passers and stakeholders. University officials led by SUC President III, Dr. Jeffrey A. Clarin, along with university officials, faculty, staff, parents, and students, graced the occasion in support of the graduates.
Day 1 activities continued with student-centered competitions such as the saludo competition, drill exhibitions, and firearm exercises, showcasing the discipline, skills, and teamwork of criminology students from first to fourth year.
This celebration reaffirms ASUโs commitment to producing competent, disciplined, and service-oriented professionals in the field of criminal justice.
