Pursuant to Memorandum Order No. 04-0334, Series of 2026, issued by the Office of the University President, as an enhancement to Office Memorandum No. 03-0254, Series of 2026, and in line with CHED Memorandum No. 117, s. 2026, Executive Order No. 110, s. 2026 declaring a State of National Energy Emergency, and Memorandum Circular No. 114, Series of 2026 issued by Malacañang, Aklan State University shall implement an enhanced flexible work arrangement and delivery of instruction effective April 16, 2026, until officially lifted.
Under this arrangement:
• All office personnel shall report on-site from Monday to Thursday following the regular work schedule, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM; 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM, and shall observe a work-from-home arrangement every Friday. Offices shall ensure continuous delivery of services during the prescribed working days.
• Classes scheduled from Monday to Thursday shall proceed as regular classes following the approved schedule. All teaching personnel shall report as scheduled. Faculty members shall observe synchronous or asynchronous teaching modality on Fridays. Teaching personnel shall submit accomplishment report to their immediate supervisor at the end of the month.
• Classes scheduled on Saturday (Undergraduate and Graduate) shall be conducted via synchronous or asynchronous modality except for Comprehensive Examinations, which shall be onsite.
• NSTP, RLE instructions, and thesis students attending laboratory or field experiments will proceed as scheduled.
• Units responsible for safety and security, general and auxiliary services, preventive maintenance and facilities management, food services, lodging/dormitory operations, transportation, and agricultural and fishery projects must remain fully operational and are exempted from the four-day onsite work arrangement.
• Cafeteria and lodging/dormitory personnel may be requested to report on Saturday and Sunday, provided there are scheduled events and guest bookings approved by the University President.
• Agricultural and Fishery project in-charge shall assign farm workers to report alternately during Saturdays and Sundays.
