Aklan State University (ASU) convened key stakeholders for its Fiscal Year 2027 Budget Consultation at the ASU Review Center, reinforcing the university’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and inclusive governance.
The half-day consultation gathered representatives from students, faculty and staff, alumni, business sectors, and community partners to review institutional accomplishments and discuss priorities for the coming fiscal year.
University President Dr. Jeffrey A. Clarin opened the program by highlighting the importance of collaborative planning in advancing ASU’s strategic goals. Finance and planning officials presented the university’s 2025 physical accomplishments and 2027 targets, followed by the proposed FY 2027 budget outlining priority programs, infrastructure developments, and student-centered initiatives.
An open forum allowed stakeholders to raise insights, recommendations, and sectoral concerns—ensuring that diverse voices are reflected in the university’s financial direction.
The consultation concluded with a renewed call for unity and shared responsibility as ASU moves forward in strengthening academic excellence, research innovation, and community engagement under its vision for sustainable growth.
