In view of the increasing number of bomb threats that have been leveled at Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Western Visayas for the past few weeks, it is imperative that the university be prepared for similar situations should they happen.
In this regard, the University has adopted official protocols for handling bomb threats, as stipulated in ๐๐๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐๐ง๐๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ซ ๐๐จ. ๐๐-๐๐๐๐, ๐. ๐๐๐๐ issued by the Office of the University President. These protocols are detailed in the images attached to this post.
The university prioritizes the safety and security of its students, personnel, and stakeholders, and as such advises the whole ASU Community to be aware and alert, and to follow these protocols in cases of security threats.
