In celebration of the 125th Anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service Commission, the Training Services Office together with the Gender and Development Office, Administration, University Student Council, and the LIKHA and RCYC officers of Aklan State University in New Washington conducted a series of activities on September 29, 2025.
The day began with a fun run, followed by a coastal clean-up in barangays Polo to Tambak and a seminar that was held in Manuel Peralta Community Center in New Washington, Aklan.
Also present in the seminar was Hon. Shimonette P. Francisco, Municipal Mayor, who delivered an inspiring message.
This was followed by a series of talks from Atty. Mark Cezar Carpizo, Legal/ Special Operations Officer of Jetty Cagban Port, who discussed about upholding integrity and ethical responsibility in public service. After which, Mr. Ferdinand Macogue, OIC Chief Human Resource Specialist of CSC Aklan Field Office, shared about the strategic performance management system and IPCR.
The activity was participated by both the students and employees of the said campus
