Aklan State University (ASU) continues to advance its commitment to digital transparency and ethical procurement practices with the successful conduct of the training titled “Navigation of ASU BAC Website for Advertisement of Procurement Opportunities” held on September 11, 2025 at the Data Mine Hub ASU Banga Aklan. The session convened the Campus BAC Secretariats and procurement officers to enhance their capacity in digital posting and compliance with Republic Act No. 12009.
The training was organized by the Procurement Unit, in collaboration with the ASU Training Services Unit and the ICT/MIS Office, reflecting a unified institutional effort to strengthen digital governance and procurement readiness.
Mr. Jess Zausa Masula served as the Resource Speaker for the training. He is the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Chairperson of Aklan State University in Ibajay Campus and the Webmaster of the Aklan State University Website. His session provided participants with detailed guidance on navigating the BAC website, establishing secure user accounts, and utilizing digital tools to enhance transparency, accountability, and efficiency in procurement processes.
Also in attendance was Prof. Reimar R. Tinga, the Director of the ICT/MIS Office, who provided full support throughout the training. His presence underscored the university’s commitment to strengthening digital systems and ensuring that technical initiatives are aligned with institutional goals. Prof. Tinga’s leadership continues to play a vital role in advancing ASU’s digital transformation and capacity-building efforts.
