Aklan State University in Banga marked a historic milestone as it held its ASEAN Month celebration with the Academic Support Staff taking center stage in the program, โ๐๐๐๐ซ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐พ๐ช๐ก๐ฉ๐ช๐ง๐๐จ, ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐๐ฃ๐ฉ๐๐ฉ๐๐๐จ: ๐ผ๐๐๐ผ๐ ๐๐๐จ๐๐๐ค๐ฃ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐พ๐ช๐ก๐ฉ๐ช๐ง๐๐ก ๐๐๐ค๐ฌ๐๐๐จ๐.โ Organized by the Human Resource Management Office, the event’s theme ๐๐ฃ๐๐ก๐ช๐จ๐๐ซ๐๐ฉ๐ฎ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ช๐จ๐ฉ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐๐๐ก๐๐ฉ๐ฎ, provided a meaningful platform for the non-teaching personnel to showcase their talents, creativity, and cultural pride.
The highlight of the celebration was the ๐๐ซ. & ๐๐ฌ. ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐, where staff members proudly represented ASEAN countries through fashion and cultural expression.
Emerging victorious were Mr. Jade Andrei S. Simera from the Office of the University and Board Secretary, who was crowned Mr. ASEAN 2025, and Mrs. Aldea D. Olesco from the Training Services Unit, who was hailed as Ms. ASEAN 2025. Adding vibrance to the program were intermission performances, a community dance, and the awarding of winners.
This celebration was more than a cultural showcaseโit was a recognition of the Academic Support Staffโs integral role in the university. Usually working behind the scenes and this time, they were given the spotlight, reminding the community that inclusivity means celebrating everyoneโs contributions, both inside and beyond the classroom.
