The Aklan State Universityโs AgriBits Team proudly clinched 3rd Place in the Agri Tech Innovate: Accelerating Digital Solutions for Sustainable Agriculture and Fisheries Boot Camp and Mentoring Session, held on August 25โ29, 2025, at Sky Deck, Madison 101 Hotel, Quezon City.
Representing Region 6, the AgriBits Team emerged victorious after a week-long program that featured intensive lectures, mentoring sessions, product development, and pitching activities aimed at creating ICT-driven solutions for agriculture and fisheries.
With this milestone, the Agribits Team has successfully secured a spot in the Final Round of the competition, joining other outstanding innovators from across the country.
The team is composed of Aljune C. Yatar and Arjoe D. Solidum, both third-year BS Computer Science students from ASU-Ibajay, and Alwin L. Andrade, a third-year BS Agriculture (Crop Science major) student from ASU-Banga, with guidance from their coach Mr. Jess Z. Masula, ICT Chairperson of ASU-Ibajay.
This outstanding feat highlights the ingenuity, teamwork, and passion of ASU students in advancing digital innovations for sustainable agriculture.
