The Aklan State Universityโs ๐๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ข๐ญ๐ฌ team is representing Region 6 at the Agri Tech Innovate: Accelerating Digital Solutions for Sustainable Agriculture and Fisheries Boot Camp and Mentoring Session, held on August 25โ29, 2025, at the Sky Deck, Madison 101 Hotel, Quezon City.
After excelling in Phase 1 Ideation Workshops, the Agribits Team successfully advanced as one of the 12 qualified teams nationwide to compete in Phase 2: Boot Camp. The intensive week-long program features lectures and mentoring sessions on ICT in agriculture and fisheries, product development, pitching, and prototype refinement.
The team is composed of Aljune C. Yatar and Arjoe D. Solidum, both third-year BS Computer Science students from ASU-Ibajay, and Alwin L. Andrade, a third-year BS Agriculture (Crop Science major) student from ASU-Banga. They are guided by their coach, Mr. Jess Z. Masula, ICT Chairperson of ASU-Ibajay.
At the end of this stage, only five outstanding teams will move forward to the next phase.
