A fourth-year Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English student at Aklan State University, represented Aklan during the Power with Youth: Champions for Peace Training on Resilience and Social Cohesion held at Royce Hall, Grand Astoria Hotel, Zamboanga City, on August 8โ€“11.

Jayben Mationg was among 100 youth leaders from across the country selected for the fully funded program, which recognized participants for their leadership potential and commitment to community development.

The Champions for Peace program, organized by KRIS for Peace and the Kofi Annan Foundation and supported by international partners, seeks to strengthen youth leadership in promoting peace, social cohesion, and resilience across Southeast Asia.
