The Regional Association of State Universities and Colleges VI, Inc. (RASUC VI) successfully held its Executive Board Meeting on July 25, 2025, at the HRT Service Center of Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT U), La Paz, Iloilo City.
The meeting gathered key leaders from SUCs across Western Visayas, highlighting regional efforts to advance higher education in the face of evolving academic and industry needs.
Among those in attendance was Dr. Jeffrey A. Clarin, President of Aklan State University, who actively participated in discussions alongside fellow SUC presidents.
Key agenda items included updates on the upcoming DOST 6-RASUC 6 Artificial Intelligence Technical Conference scheduled for August 11โ13, 2025; regional events and trainings; and the proposed tuition fee adjustments submitted to CHED RO VI. Financial updates were also presented, along with early preparations for the Regional SCUAA 2025.
The meeting reinforced a shared vision among SUCs in Region VIโto pursue academic excellence, promote research, and sustain development through strong inter-institutional cooperation.
