Aklan State University (ASU) and the Philippine Domestic Construction Board (PDCB) have officially entered into a partnership aimed at enriching the academic curriculum of ASUโs Architecture and Engineering programs.
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was held on June 19, 2025, at the Waterfront Hotel and Casino. Representing ASU at the event were University President Dr. Jeffrey A. The move is expected to better prepare students for professional practice and equip them with relevant skills and knowledge that meet the evolving needs of the construction industry.
This partnership forms part of the universityโs ongoing commitment to fostering industry-academe collaboration and ensuring that graduates are equipped with the skills required in todayโs professional landscape.
