Aklan State University (ASU) welcomes CHED Commissioner, Dr. Marita R. Canapi as the new Chair and Presiding Officer of the ASU Board of Regents, the universityโs top governing body.
Dr. Canapi is a respected leader in higher education, with years of experience in academic leadership, research, and policy. She previously served as President of the University of Rizal System and as the Vice President of Academic Affairs at the University of Makati and Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Marikina.
With her background as an educator and administrator, Dr. Canapi is expected to help guide ASUโs policies and future plans, ensuring the university continues to provide quality and accessible education.
