ASU Top Management Attends Review of the FY 2026 Budget Proposals

The top management of Aklan State University (ASU) actively participated in the Review of the FY 2026 Budget Proposals organized by the Regional Development Council VI (RDC VI). The event, held on February 27-28, 2025, at the Jalaur Conference Room, NEDA VI Office, Iloilo City, brought together representatives from Regional Line Agencies (RLAs), State Universities (SUs), and Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations (GOCCs) in Western Visayas.

The top management of ASU was represented by several key officials. Dr. Jeffrey A. Clarin, the SUC President III, was present alongside Dr. Ana Mae C. Relingo, Vice President for Administration. Also in attendance were Dr. Eleanor F. Rosales, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Julie Ann A. Salido, the Vice President for Research and Extension, and Mrs. Rowena I. Repedro, the SAO for Finance. Also in attendance are Mr. Arthur E. Jizmundo, Planning Officer III and Robert Louie L. Dela Cruz, Budget Officer III.

ASU’s participation highlights its commitment to securing necessary funding for academic, research, and extension programs that align with the development priorities of Western Visayas. Through active engagement in the budget review, ASU aims to enhance institutional capabilities and contribute to regional progress.
