Kalibo, Aklan – Aklan State University (ASU) President, Dr. Jeffrey A. Clarin, served as the guest of honor and speaker for the 31st Philippine National Police (PNP) Ethics Day held on January 6, 2025, at Camp Martelino, Kalibo, Aklan. The event, which celebrated the core values of the PNP, carried the theme: “Service with integrity and accountability for a safe and peaceful Philippines.”
Dr. Clarin delivered an inspiring message emphasizing the importance of integrity and accountability in law enforcement. He highlighted the role of the PNP in shaping a safer, more just society and urged the officers to continually work together to achieve this shared vision.
“Let us work together – to build a better Philippines, isang bansa kung saan namamayani ang katarungan, naghahari ang kapayapaan, and every citizen feels safe and secure,” Dr. Clarin said. His words resonated with the officers present, urging them to remain steadfast in their duty to protect and serve the Filipino people with honor and responsibility.
The 31st PNP Ethics Day was an important reminder of the values guiding the national police force in its mission. As the country’s first line of defense, the PNP’s commitment to these principles remains vital in ensuring a peaceful and secure environment for all citizens.
