October 9, 2024 – Three new programs have been incorporated into the Bachelor of Industrial Technology at ASU-Kalibo, as the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has granted these programs the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC).
The three new majors for Bachelor of Industrial Technology are Apparel and Fashion Technology, Beauty Care and Wellness Technology, and Culinary Technology.
The CHED RO VI Team, led by RD Raul Alvarez, presented and evaluated the compliance of programs without COPC, including those of ASU, at the Office of Programs and Standards Development (OPSD) of the CHED Central Office.
ASU President, Dr. Jeffrey A. Clarin, the VP for Academic Affairs, Dr. Eleanor F. Rosales, and CAFES Dean, Dr. Eva R. Orlina, were present during the activity.
