JUST IN:
By virtue of Memorandum Order No. 09-539-A, s. 2024, please be informed that the university shall implement Modified Hybrid Flexible Learning Approach (Asynchronous Online Classes) on September 16 – 21, 2024.
This is due to the Southwest Monsoon or “Habagat” currently being experienced throughout the Visayas Region, bringing heavy rains and risk of flooding in low-lying areas.
With this, classes for the Laboratory High School (LHS), undergraduate and graduate programs across all ASU campuses shall be conducted through online modalities. However, ALL FACULTY must report to work in their respective campuses during the said dates and continue working on their academic tasks and such other work that their immediate supervisor, Campus Director, or University President may assign.
For faculty and staff whose areas are adversely affected that travel (to and from school) will be too risky and/or difficult due to flooding and the like, they are not required to report to station and may make arrangements with their immediate supervisors on alternative modes of work/service delivery.
