ASU Top Management meets with CHEDROVI for COPC status

To ensure that the existing programs of Aklan State University are quality assured, President, Dr. Jeffrey A. Clarin, together with other members of ASU top management had a meeting today, September 9, 2024, with the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office VI (CHEDROVI) to discuss matters pertaining the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) status of both graduate and undergraduate programs of the ASU.
The meeting was called upon by the CHEDROVI’s Director, Dr. Raul C. Alvarez, Jr. together with CHED Supervisors: Mr. Paulo Cabanero, Dr. Danebeth Narzoles, Dr. Rosslin John Robles, Dr. Roxanne Edrosolano, Dr. Jimmy Tolosa, Mr. Allan Grey, and Mr. Efren Sucaldito.
Also present at the meeting are: VP for Academic Affairs, Dr. Eleanor F. Rosales; Director for Quality and Assurance, Dr. Jolisa H. Ang; Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Dr. Aphrile L. De Angel; and Ms. Jezibel Bahon, Registrar III of ASU-Kalibo.
The COPC is a recognition that the specific degree programs being offered by State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) are fully compliant with the policies, standards, and guidelines of CHED.
