Representatives from the Office of the Provincial Governor and JSIS Co. Ltd. from Korea visited ASU today August 1, 2024 to present a business proposal for establishing an ICT Job Training Center in Kalibo, Aklan. The meeting explored the potential collaboration between the parties and ASU in relation to ICT developments in the province.
In the proposal, ASU’s role would be providing assistance in the recruitment of high-quality students and professionals for the Center’s programs as well as conduct promotional activities.
JSIS CO., Ltd is part of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Inclusive Business Solution (IBS) Program.
Present during the courtesy visit are Kim Sangyun, Jang Yunjeong, and Park Jung Bae of JSIS Co. Ltd. together with representatives of Aklan – PGO, Acting Campus Director of ASU-Kalibo, Dr. Angeline G. Regalado, and Acting Dean of the College of Computer Studies, Dr. Chrystler T. Orbien.
