Japanese Gov, PGO-Aklan visits ASU

Representatives from Hamamatsu City, Japan visited Aklan State University today, July 29, 2024 at the Office of the President. The group is accompanied by representatives of the Provincial Government Office of Aklan (PGO-Aklan).
Mr. Kensuke Uchiyama, Mr. Shinya Kishita, and Mr, Hideaki Kitajima of Hamamatsu City Government and Mr. Masafumi Miki of Nihongo Cafe came to Aklan to discuss the Internship Program of their city. With the help of PGO-Aklan, the discussion aimed at sending ASU students to Japan for internship or On-the-Job Training. Also, preparation and plans for the arrival of the Mayor of the said city on October 30, 2024 was talked about during the meeting.
PGO-Aklan was represented by Mr. Marsh B. Bernabe, PESO Manager, Mr. Niven M. Maquirang, Executive Assistant V, Ms. Katherine Ricamonte, and Ms. Blessie Grace Magtulis.
Present during the visit are OIC of the Office of the President, Dr. Anna Mae C. Relingo, OIC of the Office of the VP for Academic Affairs, Dr. Donna R. Lariosa, Acting Director for International Affairs Office, Prof. Joan R. Agustin, representing the CTE International Affairs Office, Dr. Sharmaine Lava, and Executive Assistant, Mrs. Junah Belle M. Rosales.
