ASU President, Dr. Jeffrey A. Clarin signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Capiz State University (CAPSU) today, July 22, 2024 at the Office of the President.
ASU and CAPSU will be collaborating on the implementation of a research program entitled: Utilization of Coconut Germplasm Collection at Coconut Breeding Trial Unit (CBTU) for the Advancement of Coconut Hybridization in Western Visayas, funded by DOST-PCAARRD.
ASU will be collaborating in conducting a research to monitor and identify pests in agricultural commodities.
Present during the MOA signing are, Dr. Salvacion J. Legaspi, CAPSU Crop Science Research and Development Center (CAPSU CSRDC) Director, Mr. Kiert Jenn V. Tungale, CAPSU Research Assistant, Dr. Evelyn P. Vedasto, ASU-Training and Assessment Center (TAC) Manager and Dr. Eva R. Orlina, Acting Dean of CAFES.
