Aklan State University was given recognition by the Commission on Higher Education Region VI – Western Visayas during the 3rd Regional Quality Awards in celebration of the 4th National Higher Education Day, and the 30th CHED Founding Anniversary on May 29, 2024 at the Urdaneta Hall, University of San Agustin, Iloilo City.
Among the awards given to ASU are:
1. 8th Top Performing School in May 2023 Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination (PNLE) with a rating of 96.67%
2. Award for Excellence in Internationalization Initiatives
3. Award for Excellence in Indigenous People’s Education
4. Recognition for ASU’s support to CHEDRO6’s implementation of its programs, activities, and projects.
5. Model Implementer Award for HEMIS A.Y. 2023-2024 (ASU Kalibo Campus)
6. Award for Excellence in Student Affairs and Services (ASU Kalibo Campus)
