Prof. Julie Ann A. Salido, Professor III at ASU- Kalibo Campus, has been adjudged as a Regional Winner of the Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award.
In a press release from the Civil Service Commission Regional Office 6, Prof. Salido is one of the four recipients of the Honor awards, alongside Mayor Jerry Trenas of Iloilo City, Mayor Mary Jean Te of Libertad Antique, and Mr. Jemar Harold Hison, Population Officer I of Iloilo.
Prof. Salido is the Focal Person of the Gender and Development Officer of the University. She is also the head of several externally-funded research projects, including the SEAWaVES project with DOST-PCIEERD/DOST VI and the Project Leader of Trimaran Phase 2.
Likewise, she serves as a technical expert for the ITSO, the technical working group representative of the university in WVCIEERD, and is an active member of the National Research Council of the Philippines.
