ASU tops PADS Best Practices tilt

Aklan State University was adjudged 1st Place for Best Practices on the Philippine Anti-Illegal Drugs Strategy (PADS) organized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and the Dangerous Drugs Board, given on June 2, 2023 at the Activity Center of Robinson’s Jaro, Iloilo City.

The Best Practices Contest has the theme, “Development of Drug-Free Learning Institutions in Region VI for AY 2022-2023.”

ASU submitted a six-minute video articulating the programs, policies, and activities of the University in support of PADS.

The award was received by Dr. Jeffrey Clarin, ASU-Kalibo Campus Director, and Dr. Marlyn J. Baylosis, OSAS Director.

The awarding ceremony was graced by Regional Director Marjorie V. Ballesteros PDEA RO6 as Guest Speaker.

The judges of the contest were officials from the PDEA, PNP, and DILG.
