The ASU Banga Personnel gathered at the Review Center today, March 24, 2023 in celebration of the Women’s Month with the theme: “WE for Gender and Inclusive Society”
The program commenced with Campus Director, Dr. Michael T. Ibisate’s opening remarks, followed by Banga Chapter ASUFA President, Prof. Napoleon B. Marasigan, III who introduced the Resource Person, ASU President Dr. Emily M. Arangote.
Dr. Arangote, in her talk “The Woman in You”, gave emphasis on the role of a woman in the home, the workplace, and the society.
After the talk, she was awarded with a certificate and token of appreciation by Prof. Marasigan and OIC GAD Director, Ms. Jyanee Loi Yecla. The ASU personnel then actively participated in a game of “Bring Me This!” and “Question and Answer”. This was followed by “Empowerment through Dance, Ikaw ay Ginto” led by the Manduyog Dance Troupe where the ASU personnel danced collectively.
The program ended with the Ribbon Cutting ceremony and opening of “Juana Be Pampered” Stations featuring the following services: Juana Haircut?, Mani/Pedi for Juana, I Hygiene Product for EveryJuan, and Free BP Checkup for EveryJuan.
