The Aklan State University\u2013Kalibo proudly celebrates the remarkable achievements of three faculty members who were recognized during the 2nd Gawad Pamana ng Pluma International Awards held on May 31, 2026, at Hotel Supreme Convention Plaza, Baguio City.
\nDr. Angeline G. Regalado, Campus Director, received the Gawad Sulo ng Pamumuno (Award for Excellence in Educational Leadership and Supervision) in recognition of her outstanding leadership, dedication to academic excellence, and valuable contributions to the advancement of education.
\nDr. Leunamatileme G. Tosoc, Chair of Alumni Affairs and Campus Information Officer, was conferred the Tugatog ng Akdang Tuluyan Award in recognition of her significant contributions to Philippine literature through outstanding prose writing and publications. Her short story, \u201cSa Gitna ng mga Mensahe,\u201d was also recognized as Akdang Tuluyan ng Linggo.
\nMs. Rosyl May J. Tia\u00f1a, Chairperson of the Office of Student Affairs and Services, received the Tugatog ng Panulaan Award for her exemplary achievements and contributions to the field of poetry writing. Her poem, \u201cFor the Love of Geometry,\u201d was also selected as Poem of the Week.
\nThe awards were bestowed by M.E. Publications, KAFAMPI, and ASSETT of the Philippines, Inc., honoring individuals whose literary and professional endeavors continue to inspire, educate, and enrich society.
\nThese prestigious recognitions reflect the unwavering commitment of ASU-Kalibo faculty members to excellence in leadership, scholarship, and literary artistry. Their achievements bring honor not only to the ASU-Kalibo but also to the entire Aklan State University community.
