LOOK and READ: ASU visits University of Antique

Aklan State University officials led by President Emily M. Arangote visited the University of Antique (UA) Main Campus in Sibalom Antique for site/ocular inspection and benchmarking with UA university officials on March 4, 2022.
UA President Dr. Pablo Crespo, Jr., UA VP for Academic Affairs Dr. Jelyn Alentajan, and other UA university officials warmly welcomed the delegates from ASU with an opening program in their honor.
Dr. Arlene B. Dela Cruz (Vice President, Academic Affairs), the Campus Directors (Dr. Jeffrey A. Clarin of ASU-Kalibo, Prof. Francis I. Renacido of ASU-New Washington, and Mr. Arthur E. Jizmundo of ASU-Ibajay) and the Head of the Teacher Education Center (Dr. Amelia T. Navejas), Chief Admin Officer Mr. Edilberto L. Solidum, Dr. Anna Mae C. Relingo (Director, Planning and Development), Dr. Eva R. Orlina (Dean, College of Agriculture, Forestry and Environmental Sciences [CAFES]), Prof. Alexander I. Ramos (Director, Safety and Security), Prof. Hadjie C. Ruzgal (Director, Auxiliary Services), Mr. Jerby J. Paderes (OIC-BOR/University Secretary), Mr. Raymond P. Elitiong (Executive Assistant to the University President), Prof. RJ A. Ampoyos (Head, Admin & Support Services, ASU-NW), and Mr. Jeric D. Catalan (Chair, Safety & Security Services, ASU-NW) accompanied Dr. Arangote on the trip.
The ASU contingent consulted with their UA counterparts on areas and concerns specific to their positions/offices and functions. They also toured the facilities and viewed equipment and amenities for reference.
After the visit to UA, the ASU group dropped by the LGU-Sibalom to benchmark on the groundbreaking Solid Waste Management System of the municipality.
