ASU signs MOA with KadaKareer PH

JUST IN: ASU signs MOA with KadaKareer PH
A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between KadaKareer PH and Aklan State University was signed today, February 21, 2022 virtually on Zoom.
KadaKareer PH is an educational, non-profit organization incorporated in the U.S.A. with authority to operate in the Philippines. It is a low-bandwidth, community-based career development platform that provides contextualized career resources and coaching for underserved students in the Philippines to launch their digital careers.
In the said MOA, ASU has agreed to be a partner for the initiatives of KadaKareer PH to provide coaching connections and low-bandwidth career resources for students.
ASU and KadaKareer PH will be working together on any and all initiatives related to extending career support and services to students, such as but not limited to, workshops and webinars related to digital careers or job application skills, personalized or group sessions between students and KadaKareer Coaches; and access to the KadaKareer platform.
ASU President, Dr. Emily M. Arangote expressed her gratitude and excitement for the partnership because of all its benefits for ASU students. KadaKareer PH Business Development Lead, Ms. Michi Ferreol also extended her enthusiasm and looks forward to working with ASU.
Also present during the virtual MOA signing are, International Affairs Director, Dr. Manuel O. Malonisio, OSAS Director, Dr. Marlyn Baylosis, ASU-CIT Campus Director, Dr. Jeffrey A. Clarin, Guidance Counselor, Mrs. Mary Loanie G. Tenazas, FUSC President, Ms. Apple Jean Villanueva, OSAS Campus Coordinators, ASU students, as well as the team from KadaKareer PH.
